HALLOWEEN PARTY AND DANCE, OCTOBER 26
Our second annual Halloween Party and Dance will be on Saturday, October 26th. Party kicks off starting at 5:30pm to 7:45pm. There will then be a quick break and cleanup, with an all-ages dance starting at 8:00pm until about 9:30pm. Each school age kid receives a free hotdog meal. Featuring carnival type games, costume contests (with cash prizes, kids through adults), cupcake walk, Halloween movies, and more. Volunteers are welcome, and we’re seeking donations of candy and prizes for the various games and contests. Please view the attached flyer. 2nd ANNUAL MUSIC FESTIVAL AND OKTOBERFEST, OCTOBER 19
Join us at our 2nd annual Music Festival at the Pleasant Ridge Community Hall, October 19th! Great fun for the whole family! Board Member, Les Kinneman, is Chairing this Community Event. We’re adding in “Oktoberfest” as well, bringing in Mt. Angel Oktoberfest sausages, and the Hall will provide the buns and condiments. We will potluck the rest. Bands will play, singers will sing (even have Karaoke), feel free to dance, and of course enjoy the potluck! So bring your favorite potluck item, beverage, dancing shoes, or musical instrument.

GARAGE/CRAFT/ETC. SALE COMING JUNE 1st. RESERVE YOUR SPACE TODAY!
Our annual Garage/Craft sale will be on Saturday, June 1st. Indoor and outdoor booths are available – a 10’x10′ space is only $10! Last year we had food (bbq pulled pork) and snacks available, and hope to do the same this year as well. For more information, or to reserve your space, please leave us a message or drop us an email.
ANNUAL MEETING – SUN APRIL 14th
The Pleasant Ridge Community Hall Annual Meeting will be held on Sunday, April 14th, at the Hall (time TBA).
CHRISTMAS CRAFT FAIR – SAT. DECEMBER 8th!
Karen Leithauser will be hosting a Christmas Craft Fair on Saturday, December 8th from 9am to 6pm. For booth questions or more information, please contact Karen directly at 541.350.2329.
HALLOWEEN PARTY & DANCE WAS TONS OF FUN!
We had a GREAT turnout for our Halloween Party & Dance. The girls did a fantastic job in organizing and putting things together, and with help from the parents and other volunteers, a fun time was had by all. Lots of pictures of the event are on our Facebook page – see the link on the right hand side, and go take a look! For all the wonderful volunteers that helped, MANY thanks!
FAMILY HALLOWEEN PARTY & DANCE – Saturday, October 27th from 5:30pm until 9:30pm (or so)
Join us for games, activities, hotdogs, kettle corn, snowcones, and fun for the whole family. Food, games and fun start at 5:30pm, with a dance starting at 7:30pm.
LINE DANCING WITH KAREN – Wednesdays @ 6:30pm
Karen is offering FREE line dance classes every Wednesday evening, starting at 6:30pm. No partner required! It’s not only fun, but a fun way to stay fit!
FREE DJ DANCE – Friday, July 20th
DJ Scott will be using the Hall to do some setup and testing of his DJ and lighting on Friday evening, and is offering a free dance for any that want to attend. Radio edits (language edited songs) from 8pm-9pm for the younger crowd, and everything else after 9pm.
COMMUNITY BBQ – Sunday, July 22nd
Todd and Tammy Miller are planning the Community BBQ for Sunday, July 22nd. There will be bingo, great food, and a whole lot more.
2nd ANNUAL COMMUNITY GARAGE SALE, SATURDAY JUNE 2nd!
Our Community Garage Sale is fast approaching! One day only; Saturday, June 2nd, 9am – 3pm. Inside and outside booths (10×10) are still available for only $10.00. In addition to bargains and deals of all types, we’ll also have beverages, lunch and snacks available (smoked bbq pulled pork sandwiches, sno-cones, popcorn, and more).
Setup begins at 2pm on Friday (for those that need extra time). All vendors need to plan on providing their own tables/chairs. Indoor booths are available on a limited basis.

INTERIOR REPAINT COMPLETED
Thanks to Todd, Tami and all the volunteers for all their hard work the other weekend. Our inside has now received a repaint, and it looks great. And another ‘thank you’ to Sherry Binger, V.I.P., for purchasing the paint.
DANCING AT THE HALL
There will be Line Dance Classes at the Pleasant Ridge Community Hall every Wednesday Night from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Karen Leithauser is the dance instructor. There is no charge to attend this class, however, Karen has a donation jar out to help her cover the cost of the Hall usage. Any additional funds go to the St. Jude Children’s Cancer program. Many are donating $5.00 per person, or $8.00 per couple.
ANNUAL MEETING, APRIL 1st!
Please join us at our Annual Meeting, which will be on Sunday, April 1st, 3pm, at the hall. The meeting will be from 3pm-4pm. Nominations for three (3) open board positions will be accepted and filled at this meeting – if you’ve ever considered being a part of the Pleasant Ridge Community Hall, this is an excellent opportunity!
A Community Potluck will be immediately following the Annual Meeting – a ham will be provided by the current Board, so plan to attend, and bring your favorite dish.
Federal 501c(3) Status Approved
We received our approval for Federal 501c(3) status on March 13th, 2012, with a recognition date by the IRS of October 4th, 2011.
Exterior Repaint Completed!
With the generous support of Sherwin Williams of Redmond, and the help of lots of volunteers, the exterior repaint was completed on June 26th. Again, a big “THANK YOU” to all who helped and contributed.
Community Garage Sale a Huge Success
Our first annual Community Garage Sale was a wonderful success. There were approximately 20 booths, and the weather actually cooperated with us. There were discussions afterwards about hosting a possible Farmer’s Market.
